Raz
Godelnik CEO, raz@ecolibris.net |
Raz is a great
believer in the power of green business to bring about
positive change. He spent a few years in financial management
and business development positions and also served as
an advisor to the Israeli Minister of the Interior.
Afterwards, he co-founded Hemper Jeans, an eco-fashion
jeans company focusing on producing fashionable jeans
made of hemp. He also writes on green business for the
second-largest newspaper in Israel. Raz holds an MBA
from Tel Aviv University. In Eco-Libris, his job is
to navigate the company and make sure it meets its mission:
balancing out half a million books by the end of 2008.
Raz lives in Delaware with his wife, Peleg. Besides
developing, writing on and breathing green business,
he likes playing soccer and watching Woody Allen films
and old episodes of Seinfeld.

Eylon

Eylon has more than a
decade's experience working in profitable international
online businesses in various marketing, sales and operation
management roles. His job in Eco-Libris is to spread the
word about Eco-Libris in the West Coast and essentially
make sure that every book sold there will have an Eco-Libris
stamp on its sleeve, thus single-handedly reversing global
warming.
Eylon lives in Northern California and when not in
the office on the phone munching on a vegan trail mix,
he enjoys playing the banjo, hiking and attending the
occasional local sweat lodge.

Oren
Entin ,Online Marketing. |
Oren is an online entrepreneur
with eight years of experience in management, customer
support operations and marketing, specializing in various
online marketing strategies including guerrilla marketing.
He is the co-founder of Hemper Jeans, an eco-fashion jeans
company, and works as a freelance consultant to several
online ventures. Oren is responsible for Eco-Libris’s
online marketing operations.
When not in the office, Oren is a proud ambassador and
messenger of the Integral Theory in Israel, working with
Dr. Don Beck on his Middle East project. A few years ago
he published a book of short stories (“At the Faculty
of Happiness Studies", Gal publishers, 2000), and
he also writes for NRG, a leading Israeli portal. He can
also be found sweating in his permaculture garden to cultivate
the biggest cabbages possible.

by Ken Wilber and “Cat's cradle” by Kurt Vonnegut.

Gilad

Growing up
in an Israeli Moshav (a type of cooperative semi-agricultural
community), Gilad has always been surrounded by trees.
Until today, his family still owns fruit orchards, which
he is responsible to irrigate during the hot Israeli summer.
Still, his greatest interest has been and still is economics
and business. He holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University,
worked for a few years in the Israeli Ministry of Finance,
and in the last couple of years he runs his family business
- Berlin Technologies. Gilad will provide Eco-Libris with
his expertise and experience in business management and
strategy, as well as a few tips on irrigation.
When he is not in his office, he likes to spend his
time with his wife, Shirly, and his two daughters and
new-born son. He also likes to watch soccer games, practice
yoga and dance classic dances (no, you won't see him
in 'dancing with stars', not yet).

Gili
Koniak, Environmental and Natural Resource Advisor,

Gili believes
in combining scientific ecology with reality. She is a
Ph.D student in the field of plant ecology at the Hebrew
University of Jerusalem, Israel. She also holds a B.Sc.
in Agricultural Economics. She spent the last fall semester
at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University
as a research fellow, focusing on how to bring together
science and policy makers, ecosystem services and ecological
economics.
Gili will contribute her expertise in natural resources
to help Eco-Libris ensure the quality of the planting
operations carried out by its partners.
Gili lives in Israel. She enjoys spending time in the
diverse ecosystems of Israel, and all over the world
- doing outdoor activities like hiking, wandering or
scientific measurements.
Favorite books: "Mr. Vertigo” by Paul Auster
and “Wandering” by Hermann Hesse.
