The
'Eco-Libris and the green wizards' contest has ended, and
we would like to thank all the Harry Potter fans that took
part in it and sent us their pictures with one of the Harry
Potter books!
We received pictures from all over the world and were happy
to see that so many fans appreciate the fact that the seventh
book in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,
is printed in many countries on paper containing 30% or more
recycled paper. This way hundreds of thousands of trees in
the muggle world are saved and also the magical animals that
live among them like monkeys, tigers, wolves and bears. No
wonder this book is claimed by many to be the greenest book
printed to date.
About 180 trees will be planted by our planting partners
thanks to the people who participated in the contest. And
we also have a winner!! Our judges have chosen after a lot
of thought the best photo, which gives the gifted photographer
a free copy of the new Harry Potter, printed on 100% recycled
paper.
And the winner is: Julieth Gonzalez
from Columbia, who took a picture together with her
group of hufflepuff. Greetings, Julieth. Thank you for the
great picture and enjoy the 'Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows'
you just won!
Felicitaciones, Julieth Gonzalez from Columbia!
Here are some other great pictures we received from Harry
Potter fans:
